How does this work?
I am here for you and willing to provide the necessary support for your child to thrive. There is flexibility meeting in-person and/or online. I can tutor one-on-one, small groups, learning pods, and homeschooling groups. It is important that the instruction is tailored to meet the needs of your child. Not all children learn the same; therefore, I am continually assessing them, discussing with you areas of strength, and next steps. I can also communicate with your child’s teacher to better align content. Ideally, the “Learning Village” would be made up of the child, parent/guardian(s), tutor, and teacher.
What is the difference?
Small Group Instruction is targeted to meet the children’s academic needs and strengthen their skills. Small groups range from 2-6 children. These groups focus on specific skills within a chosen content area.
Learning Pods are a small group of children (up to ten) who come together to learn and socialize with the guidance of a teacher. All pods are different and based on the families’ specific needs.
